Busan Pt 1

A few days in a city by the sea. A very windy and cold city by the sea.

Seoul train station, getting ready to find our platform and take the 3 hour trip to Busan.

Brendan carrying the big backpack.

Looking tired on the train. Somehow we ended up with seats across the aisle from one another.

Dinner the first night at a great Italian restaurant called "The Pan." We sat outside even though it was freezing and the heaters didn't help much.

Jagalchi Fish Market.
Here we see some hanging dried squid.

I don't know what this is.

Met a fish that really wanted to escape.

I convinced Brendan to buy a knife as a souvenier. Only 15 bucks for a sweet, newly sharpened and gigantic knife!

Getting the new knife sharpened

Eating at one of the small, family owned resaurants at the fish market. You can choose what you want straight out of the tank!

There were some very loud Korean businessmen chatting it up.

Hiking up to Busan tower.

Nice view.

A korean sized staircase.

Christmas lights

Part II to come later!
